Since its inception Punjab Public Service Commission has been conducting this examination to select candidates for various posts in the services of the state. This exam is conducted to select candidates for various posts like Sub – Divisional Magistrate (SDM), Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP), Excise and Taxation Officer (ETO), Tehsildar and others in the state services. The exam is conducted in three stages – Prelims Examination, Mains Examination and Viva – Voce and takes around 12 months for the entire selection process to get completed. Government is determined to test your various skills through this examination, like basis understanding, aptitude, analytical mind and how you perceive things on moral and ration grounds.
